A suspected Boko Haram terrorist was apprehended by members of the Civilian Joint Task Force in Sambisa forest.

According to a Facebook user, Muaza Alhaji Misiya, the suspected terrorist who gave his name as Hassan Muhammad said his father who he simply identified as Mallam Muhammadu is a security guard at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.

The military has been making headway into the dreaded forest following the announcement of Operation Crackdown.

The operation geared towards an offensive attack on the terrorists has resulted in the capture and deaths of some terrorists and also discovery of some of the hideouts.
