Nigerian/EPL player ruled out of friendlies due to injury
– Victor Moses has been ruled out of the Mali and Luxembourg friendlies which is scheduled to take place this month
Nigerian and West Ham United striker, Victor Moses is out of the proposed friendly matches between the Super Eagles and Mali and Luxembourg, a top NFF source hinted NAIJ.com.
Moses who was loaned out to West Ham from Chelsea at the beginning of last season was invited for both matches by the interim coach, Salisu Yusuf.
“Moses is out of the friendlies, he pulled out of both matches,” the source who pleaded anonymity told NAIJ.com on the phone.

“All I know right now is the fact that he wants to rest as you know that he has been having series of on and off injuries, maybe he wants to make best use of the break and relax.
“But I can confirm to you that he will not be a part of the squad, this has been related to the head coach of the team,” the source concluded.
However, the 25-year-old player is a member of the 2013 Nations cup winning squad.
According to report, a total number of five players from the invitees will not be a part of the friendlies.
Aaron Samuel is injured, William Troost-Ekong has club engagements and will feature against Mali.
Team captain, Mikel Obi and his assistant Ahmed Musa will appear at the Joseph Yobo testimonial match.
