– Senator Ben-Murray Bruce is trending on Twitter after he alleged that he was barred from greeting President Muhammdu Buhari

– This time, his common sense did not make a lot of sense to majority of Nigerians

– Some said the integrity of his common sense was at stake as some senators denied his allegations

Senator Ben-Murray Bruce has come under harsh criticisms over his latest claims that he was prevented from greeting President Muhammadu Buhari during a dinner party held at the presidential villa to mark 2016 Democracy Day.

In a series of tweets posted on Monday, May 30, Bruce said the DSS didn’t allow him greet the president but let another Senator greet him.

The senator representing Bayelsa East senatorial district had no idea his revelation would backfire and land him harsh criticisms.

The senator is always in the news, trying to proffer solution to the Buhari-led administration. Sometimes, he criticises the government for making bad decisions.

Apparently, he was trying to make common sense but this time, Nigerians are not with him as they took to social media to mock him.
