It was a Sunday afternoon. Sunny. Winter. Crisp. There were two Aussie Rules teams and a contest half complete.



A Melbourne Football Club coach was walking towards the middle of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, making and checking scribbled notes while cross-referencing match statistics with a small fleet of assistants in tow. It was time for a huddled address.
