The British pound is going crazy after another Brexit poll showed 'Leave' in the lead

The British pound is crashing after yet another Brexit poll showed that "Leave" is in the lead.

A survey of 2,000 people conducted by the Independent found that 55% believe the UK should leave the EU, an increase of four points from their April poll. Meanwhile, 45% were in the Remain camp.

The currency dropped by as much as 1.9%, then quickly rebounded, and is now down by 1.5%.

As for the rest of the world, here's the scoreboard:

• The Canadian dollar is down by 0.4% after the Canadian jobs report showed that the labor market added 13,800 jobs in May, above expectations of 1,800, and the unemployment rate unexpectedly fell to 6.9% — the lowest rate since July 2015.
• The Russian ruble is getting slammed as oil prices fall. It's down by 1.2% at 65.0994 per dollar. Earlier, the currency strengthened up to 64.6032 per dollar after the Central Bank of Russia cut its benchmark one-week repo rate to 10.50%, down from 11%.
• The Japanese yen is stronger by 0.2% at 106.83 per dollar.
