This ingenious device turns any surface into a remote control

Knocki is a smart device that can make any surface smart. It is a programmable disk which sticks to a surface and interprets taps and knocks on the surface into commands. Knocki uses Wi-Fi to turn on lights, send text messages, call an Uber and set your thermostat. It is selling at its early bird price at $89 on Kickstarter and has an MSRP of $129.
