KB Homes shares rise as results beat Street view

KB Homes shares advanced in the extended session Tuesday after the homebuilder's quarterly results topped Wall Street estimates. KB Homes shares advanced 2.3% to $14.88 after hours. The company reported second-quarter earnings of 17 cents a share on revenue of $811.1 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had estimated earnings of 14 cents a share on revenue of $753.4 million.
