A meeting of the Russia-NATO Council wrapped up in Brussels on Wednesday, with NATO officials briefing their Russian counterparts on the "important decisions" made at last weekend's Warsaw Summit. Commenting on the meeting, political scientist Sergei Ermakov emphasized that direct talks were important, even though real compromise was unlikely.
