Tottenham announce full Wembley capacity to be used for Champions League fixtures this season
Tottenham have announced that the entire capacity of Wembley stadium will be made available to the club's supporters for all of their Champions League games next season.
Spurs have agreed a deal with the FA to stage their European fixtures in the national stadium while their new ground next to White Hart Lane is being built.
Work has already begun on the £400 million development, which Spurs hope to move into in time for the 2018/19 season, including the North East section of the ground.
The early stages of construction mean a reduced capacity is set to be in place for Tottenham's domestic fixtures at the Lane but Mauricio Pochettino's side could now play in front of a huge 90,000 fans on Champions League nights.
A statement on the club website read: "We are delighted to confirm that we shall be opening the full stadium capacity for all of our Champions League fixtures next season.
"We shall be launching a Group Stage Multi-Game Ticket that will be on sale shortly.
"Not only will this ticket ensure your place at all three Group Stage matches, it will also secure you the same seat for these and for any subsequent matches in the campaign that you buy tickets for."
The club have also confirmed that the three-game packages will be available between £70 and £150.
Spurs have only competed in the Champions League once previously and supporters will eagerly await to learn their Group Stage opponents when the draw takes place on August 25.
Tottenham also announced plans to freeze season ticket prices for the forthcoming season in March while their new stadium will have a capacity of 61,000, which is marginally more than Arsenal's Emirates Stadium.
