Drunk off-duty NYPD cop plows onto Brooklyn sidewalk, killing one

The victims were walking by a townhouse on Bedford Ave. near N. 8th St. in Williamsburg when a rookie off-duty cop behind the wheel of a grey Dodge Durango crashed into them just after 3 a.m., officials said.
