Reportedly PFA player of the year Riyad Mahrez is ready to quit Leicester City despite the Foxes hoping to tie him to a new and improved contract.

Mahrez who was signed from La Havre scored 17 goals and recorded 11 assists as Leicester won the title.

Arsenal, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in Mahrez.

According to Daily Telegraph, the EPL champions have slapped a £45 million price tag on Mahrez as they look to ward off interest from top clubs.

Ranieri was sure that Mahrez will stat at King Power Stadium: “I am confident Mahrez will stay. I can wish only the best for Kante.”

However, the report claims Mahrez is now set to join the team Jamie Vardy rejected earlier in the summer for a fee close to what Arsene Wenger paid for Mesut Ozil three years ago.
