|||King William’s Town - Msobomvu police near Butterworth have opened an inquest docket after a 15-year-old boy died in a fire on Sunday.
The incident took place in Zazulwana village, Butterworth, at about 8.30pm on Saturday night, Captain Jackson Manatha said.
“The fire is suspected to have been caused by the paraffin that was adjacent to a heater. The parents of the deceased were asleep in a separate room. They were shocked when they saw flames coming from the room of their son who was sleeping alone.
“The identity of the deceased is still being withheld as some of his siblings are still being informed of his death,” Manatha said.
