Griffey in Hall speech: 'Damn proud' to be a Mariner
Sunday's Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Cooperstown, New York, was all about Mariners legend Ken Griffey Jr., who said he was "damn proud" to represent the club in the Hall.
In an emotional speech in which he took great lengths to recognize the contributions of his family -- notably his father, Ken Sr. -- Griffey reminisced about his playing days in Seattle, which he called "a big part of my life."
