The former appropriation chairman had said he will be petitioning various anti-graft agencies and security agencies to investigate series of allegations he (Jubrin) made against Dogara.
Jibrin had alleged that the speaker illegally added over N40 billion to the already passed appropriation bill – an act Nigerians have since named budget padding.
He has accused the embattled speaker of bribing nine appropriation committee members in with $20,000 each to organize a phony press conference.
Meanwhile, the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Projects (SERAP) has sent an open letter to the Speaker of the House of Representatives Yakubu Dogara demanding him to step aside following allegation of budget padding in the House, The Punch reports.
The group also requested Dogara to ensure that other principal officers of the House suspected to be involved in the alleged padding step aside from their positions.
