The latest US-EU agreement Privacy Shield on protecting European data privacy standards is confidence trick and is designed to protect economic interests at the expense of personal privacy, the founder of watchdog Privacy International and co-director of privacy activist group Code Red, Simon Davies, told Sputnik on Monday.
