Korean-American peace activists Hyun Lee and Juyeon Rhee were denied entry into South Korea, where they were traveling to protest the deployment of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system (THAAD). This US missile defense shield has been denounced both inside and outside of the country, and roundly rebuked in Russia and China.
