Jet Bursts Into Flames After Landing In Dubai, All Passengers Evacuated

The vast majority of the passengers on board — 225 — are from India. Twenty-four are from the UK, 11 from the United Arab Emirates, and 6 from the US, Emirates said in a passenger manifest statement.

The statement also said the airline was expecting an 8-hour network-wide delay.

The cause of the blaze is not yet known. All arrivals and departures at Dubai International were suspended following the accident.

Emirates said that they were cooperating with authorities and emergency services.
