EFF, ANC at loggerheads at Pretoria City Hall

Tensions were mounting between ANC and EFF supporters outside the Pretoria City Hall, after ANC members continued to campaign for votes.

Pretoria - Tensions are mounting between ANC and EFF supporters outside the voting station at the Pretoria City Hall.

ANC members were handing out T-shirts and urging people to vote in the vicinity, but this did not go down well with their EFF counterparts.

The ANC supporters were also dancing and singing struggle songs while bragging that victory for their party was imminent.

EFF members have threatened to protest if electoral officials do not intervene and stop the ANC from canvassing for votes.

In terms of electoral regulations, political activities had to end on Tuesday and are not allowed on voting day.
