'INSIDE,' one of the year's creepiest games, is coming to PlayStation 4 — here's what it's like

Games can tell all kinds of stories. Some have huge, action-movie-inspired plots like "Uncharted 4."

But some games tell small, intimate, creepy stories.

"INSIDE," which came out Xbox One and PC on June 29, falls into that second category. Until recently, PlayStation 4 owners were left out of the fun, but PlayStation just announced that "INSIDE" will be available on PlayStation 4 on August 23.

Here's what it's like:

"INSIDE" is a 2-D game where you move from left to right, but this ain't no "Super Mario Bros."

It's beautifully animated and dramatic, like an oil painting.

And it's incredibly eerie.
