Lightning strike at Miami airport tower affects flights

FAA spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen tells local news outlets that lightning hit the airport's tower around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, affecting some radio frequencies and phone lines.

According to the Miami International Airport's website, there have been 59 delays and 10 cancellations.
