1. Wearing white
Say no to white! Only the bride is allowed to wear this shade. Do not pick a dress that can be mistaken for a wedding dress.Truthfully, the most obvious mistake female wedding guests make is wearing white. In fact, anything that looks remotely bridal is out of bounds to avoid offending the bride. It’s never a good idea to wear anything that could conceivably be mistaken for a wedding dress.
2.Wearing inapproriate outfits
You can dance and flirt with the other single people all night long, but don’t be the slutty guest. It’s not worth it and, remember, the wedding’s not all about you!A wedding is a classy occasion. Don’t cheapen it by wearing what you wore to the bachelorette party or the club the night before.
3. No glitters!
Save the sparkles for the saturday night out. Avoid wearing anything too shimmering or distracting. All eyes should be on the bride and your disco ball looking dress may ruin her big moment to shine.
4. Cross-out black
Cross out black from your list since it’s the color to mourn the deceased. However, it is acceptable to wear other dark tones. In general, color gives off a cheerful look and there’s no better place to wear them than in a nuptial event!

5. Dressing like the bridesmaid
Wedding guest outfits shouldn’t look too much like the bridesmaids’ dresses. Some guests make the effort to find out the wedding color scheme and choose a coordinating dress, which is a great idea. Wearing an identical dress to the bridesmaids, however, can give the impression of being offended at not being asked to be one. Of course coincidences happen and sometimes guests will unknowingly turn up in the same color as the bridesmaids, which can’t be helped.
