The taxi operator said the thieves promised to drop his car after they must have used it for their nefarious activities.
In another development, just days after the military commenced airstrikes on major targets in the Arepo area of Ogun state, a joint force comprising the police and the military have again commenced ground attacks on the affected area as well as in Ikorodu, Lagos state.
This is as the federal government has vowed to rid the areas of militant activities.
Recall that Arepo as well as Ikorodu and Igando in Lagos state had become danger spots where militants operated killing residents and attacking government installations.
The Nigerian Air Force also released a statement assuring residents in the Arepo region to go about their normal duties in the wake of bombing of militants’ hideouts.
