Two former Super Eagles players on the move
– Chinedu Obasi joins Swedish club AIK as Nsofor Obinna sign for SV Darmstadt
– Both players won a silver medal from the 2008 Olympics Beijing Games
Victor Nsofor Obinna, former Super Eagles player has signed a one-year contract with Bundesliga outfit SV Darmstadt, BBC reports.
Obinna will however miss his team’s first four games in the new season due to suspension.
The 29-year-old was sent off in his last match for second division side MSV Duisburg in their relegation play-off against Würzburger Kickers.

Obinna joined SV Darmstadt after a successful trial at the club.
Meanwhile, Obinna’s former team mate at the national team, Chinedu Obasi has also signed a short-term deal with Swedish topflight club AIK.
The 30-year-old Nigeria international was released by Bundesliga club Schalke last summer after making just 10 league starts in three years.
“It’s a great opportunity and also a great honour for me to be part of this fantastic club,” he told AIK website.
Obinna and Obasi won a silver medal from the 2008 Olympics Beijing Games.
