– Ogaba was the youngest player at the FIFA U-16 World at Canada ’87
Peter Ogaba, the youngest Nigerian player at the FIFA U-20 world tournament hosted by Saudi Arabia in 1989 is dead.
Ogaba was part of the squad that lost in the final to eventual winners, Portugal.
Ogaba is famously the youngest player to feature at the FIFA U-16 World at Canada ’87 where Nigeria lost at the second stage to the Soviet Union.

Ogaba played for the likes of Boldklub Hostelbus, Desportivo Club Beja and Lokeren in Europe.
Ogaba died at his residence in Abuja after a brief illness. He was until his death Coach of an Abuja based side City Strikers FC.
