SEATTLE — After squandering numerous opportunities, it’s not surprising that the Seattle Mariners’ extra-inning loss ended with tying run on third base. Brock Holt bounced an RBI single up the middle off the glove of diving shortstop Sean O’Malley in the 11th inning and the Boston Red Sox beat the Mariners 3-2 on Thursday night.
