Mangaluru City Corporation in association with Coastal Development Authority will work towards constructing a skywalk near Town Hall. A decision to this effect has been taken with a view to ensure free flow of traffic, which is impeded on account of pedestrians striving to cross the four lane road near Town Hall, noted Mangaluru City South MLA J R Lobo, after inspecting the potential site where the proposed state-of-the-art skywalk is proposed to be set up.
