Men of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) have resumed the aerial bombing of hideouts of the vandals in the Ogun state axis of Arepo, Punch is reporting.
According to the report, the operation which commenced 3pm on Friday, August 5 was carried out with an Augusta helicopter which struck some locations of the vandals.
It was however not reported whether there were casualties in the attack or not.

“The operation is still ongoing. There is still serious military action going on in the place. Even as we are talking, the Air Force is engaging them from the sky,” a source was quoted.
The director of information and public relations of the nigerian air force, Group Capt. Ayodele Famuyiwa, confirmed the resumed attack on the vandals location but did not give further details.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Air Force has released a statement assuring residents in the Arepo region to go about their normal duties in the wake of bombing of militants’ hideouts.
The area has recorded military bombardment in recent times in a bid to counter the activities of Niger Delta militants
