Unlike our own Mrs Aisha Buhari who rocked a Hermes gold bag worth$69,000.00 USD (N26,910,000) on her trip to the US, the wife of Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Ho Ching, has been spotted with a purse worth $11 (N3,500).

Ho and her husband were at the White House recently and she was seen clutching the dinosaur-motif purse, as they got welcomed by US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle, at the White House lawn.

The blue-coloured purse was designed by 19-year-old Sheetoh Sheng Jie – a student of Pathlight School for autistic children, The Straits Times reports. Ho, who is also the patron of the Autism Association Singapore, reportedly bought the purse at a concert last Saturday to raise funds for autism support services. The school typically sells 200 pouches in four months, but sold 200 within a day after images of Ms Ho were shared widely, the school told the BBC.
