Scandal: Jake's Getting A New Wife

Joelle Carter, who previously appeared as Vanessa, has left the ABC drama and will be replaced by Glee alum Jessalyn Gilsig when the show returns in 2017, TVLine reports.

The recasting comes as the result of a scheduling conflict for Carter, who will be a series regular on NBC's newest addition to its Chicago franchise, Chicago Justice, when it premieres midseason.
