Buffalo Trace Distillery welcomes 1 millionth visitor

The distillery in Frankfort says the unsuspecting visitor, from Lexington, was greeted with cheers, a balloon drop and a special prize pack at the Visitor Center on Wednesday.

Distillery officials have been keeping track of visitations since the facility first opened for tours in 1999.
