Chicago Police Officers Urged to Stay Home in Protest Amid Record Gun Violence

It’s been the worst year for Chicago in terms of gun violence since 1997. As the city drowns in 20-year record homicide rate, the Fraternal Order of Police urges its members to stay home during the Labor Day holidays.
