Cover Story: “At the Movies,” by Ivan Brunetti

“It’s one of my few guilty pleasures,” Ivan Brunetti says, about going to the movies—the inspiration behind his cover for the new issue. “It’s a rare instance where I don’t mind being with people—I even enjoy people-watching. That can sometimes be more interesting than what’s on the screen. But what I really love is to go in the middle of the day and come out when it’s still bright.” Brunetti, who describes himself as straightlaced, adds, “I never would go on a roller coaster—but stepping out of a dark theatre in broad daylight is the closest thing I do to taking drugs.”
