Goodluck Jonathan speaks about Gani Fawehinmi

Goodluck Jonathan has prayed for the late Gani Fawehinmi on the seventh anniversary of his passing away.

The iconic lawyer died on September 5, 2009 due to cancer and the former president took to his social media page to pray for him.

Jonathan wrote: “As we mark the 7th anniversary of the passing of Gani, the Senior Advocate of the Masses, my prayer is that may God grant him al Jannah firdaus!”

Fawehinmi has been hailed as the voice of the common man as he has always advocated for policies tat will better the lives of the common people.

A march was staged in his honour in Lagos on Friday, September 2 at freedom park.
