The city has once again earned the dubious reputation of being burglary capital of the state. The National Crime Records Bureau (NCB) data of 2015 released recently revealed that the city witnessed 291 incidents of burglary. The number of burglaries in 2015 is far less than 502 registered in 2014. But the average burglary rate of Vadodara in 2015 is 16 that is higher than the national average of 14.1.
