NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. — Abbott Laboratories (ABT) on Wednesday reported a third-quarter loss of $329 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier. The North Chicago, Illinois-based company said it had a loss of 22 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 59 cents per share.
