PHOTO NEWS: Protest in Lagos court over Patience Jonathan’s $15m
A group of women have stormed a Federal High Court in Lagos to protest against the ruling on former first lady Patience Jonathan’s $15million recently seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Pictures by Sahara Reporters show the women who it says are a rented crowd loitering about the court premises as they wait for the ruling.

This development comes just a day after the birthday of Patience, popularly known as ‘Mama Peace’ and days after
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) sources said the commission’s investigations showed that the salary of former first lady of Nigeria Patience Jonathan was too small to buy or build her a hotel.
EFCC said it had retrieved monthly records of Patience’s salary and it showed that she earned just N700,000 as permanent secretary.
