CHICAGO — Boeing Co. (BA) on Wednesday reported third-quarter earnings of $2.28 billion. On a per-share basis, the Chicago-based company said it had profit of $3.60. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were $3.51 per share. The results exceeded Wall Street expectations.
