Good news for CBS, HBO and Amazon: Several new shows renewed

Monday morning brought good news for a number of new television series on various networks.

CBS announced that it was giving full-season orders to the new sitcoms “Man With a Plan” and “The Great Indoors,” which means five of the network’s newcomers will endure through the fall.
