Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls 'practicing to play' next week

Seahawks rookie running back C.J. Prosise injected some life into their moribund ground game in Sunday night's 31-24 victory versus the New England Patriots, and it looks like Seattle will be getting reinforcements for next week's home matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles. In his weekly radio appearance on 710 ESPN Seattle Monday morning, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said second-year running back Thomas Rawls should make it back for next Sunday's game, provided all goes well in practice this week. It would mark Rawls' first return to the field since suffering a hairline fracture in his fibula after getting kicked in the leg in Seattle' Week 2 loss at Los Angeles.
