‘Supergirl’ Season 2 Stars Melissa Benoist, Mehcad Brooks On Working With Kevin Smith On The Set Of CW Series

Melissa Benoist and Mehcad Brooks have nothing but praise for Kevin Smith, who recently finished directing the upcoming Season 2, episode 9 of “Supergirl.”

In an interview with Collider, Benoist said that Smith was “so supportive and encouraging” as a director.  “We work crazy long hours, and the energy that he brings is only positive,” said the 28-year-old actress, who plays the titular role on the CW series.
