Amazon opens fulfillment center, to hire 350 workers

(AP) — The online retail giant Amazon says it has opened a nearly-400,000-square-foot building in northeastern Pennsylvania and is hiring 350 warehouse positions.

A spokesman inside the building and a representative of Mericle Commercial Real Estate Services both referred questions to Amazon's corporate headquarters, which didn't immediately respond to requests for comment.
