First-year coach Kyle Keller gets 1st victory with SFA
NACOGDOCHES, Texas — Sophomore TJ Holyfield made two free throws with 5 seconds left and had his first career double-double with a 21 points and 14 rebounds to help Stephen F. Austin beat Longwood 66-60 on Tuesday for coach Kyle Keller’s first Lumberjack victory.
It was tied at 57-all with 2 minutes left. But Longwood didn’t score until Isaiah Walton hit a 3-pointer with 8 seconds left to pull to 64-60. Holyfield secured it at the line.
