Harvard’s young gunners down Northeastern 86-80
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Freshman Seth Towns scored a career-high 24 points and sophomore Corey Johnson added a season-high 21 as Harvard held off Northeastern 86-80 Tuesday night.
Towns made 7 of 15 field goals and Johnson shot 7-for-10 — all 3-pointers, a career-high for makes. The Crimson (3-4) shot 49 percent from the floor and were 14 of 27 from 3.
Siyani Chambers notched a double-double with 13 points and a career-best 11 assists (out of Harvard’s 21).
