Barack Obama was elected on a promise to limit America's engagement in overseas conflicts, but the nation is currently involved in several ongoing wars, including crises in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya and Afghanistan, not to mention covert military operations elsewhere, Dr. Gregory Copley, editor of Defense & Foreign Affairs, told Radio Sputnik.
