Ex-Indiana jail administrator admits to stealing $260,000
INDIANAPOLIS — A former Monroe County jail administrator has pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $260,000 in county money.
Karen Sue Bridges of Mitchell entered the plea Tuesday in Indianapolis federal court to one count of embezzlement. She was indicted last fall. Other charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
