Prosecutor drops charges in death of Detroit college officer
DETROIT — Prosecutors dropped murder charges Wednesday against a man in the killing of a Detroit college police officer who was shot in the head while on duty.
Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said charges against DeAngelo Davis, 31, of Detroit, were dropped, but she did not say why and did not take any questions from reporters during a news conference. Davis was accused of shooting Wayne State University Officer Collin Rose on Nov.
