Browns rookie Kindred breaks ankle during bye week
BEREA, Ohio — Browns rookie safety Derrick Kindred broke his ankle during the team’s bye week and will miss the remainder of the season.
Coach Hue Jackson did not divulge how Kindred was injured, but said Wednesday that it was not from doing anything “malicious” and it does not change the way the team feels about the fourth-round draft pick from TCU.
Kindred made five starts and appeared in all 12 games.
