No. 12 Ohio State women beat Canisius 89-56
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Kelsey Mitchell scored 19 points to move into fifth in program history and No. 12 Ohio State beat Canisius 89-56 on Sunday.
Mitchell needed 10 points to tie Samantha Prahalis for sixth and 15 points to match Tayler Hill for fifth.
Mitchell was 9 of 17 from the field and also had six steals.
Tori McCoy had 17 points and 11 rebounds for her first double-double with Ohio State (8-3).
