Muhammad’s 3s help Binghamton top Delaware St 85-66
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Fard Muhammad made a career-high five 3-pointers and scored 16 points, Yosef Yacob added 14 points, and Binghamton hit on 60.8 percent of its shots as they defeated Delaware State 85-66 on Saturday.
Tied 7-7 six minutes in, Muhammad made three 3-pointers during a 21-2 run to spur Binghamton (8-5) to a 28-9 lead with 6:37 left in the half. Justin McFadden’s layup began the scoring spree, and he converted a 3-point play on the Bearcats’ next possession.
