'How do you pick up the pieces?': A wrong turn on the road towards zero

On two winding roads in the hills north of Melbourne, two men made the same mistake, veering head-on into the path of an oncoming car. One died and left behind a shattered family, one lived and has a remarkable story to tell his twin daughters.
